Zeagler Music started
Zeagler Music started as a small sheet music store in Monroe in 1968. At that time, the entire staff included Dorothy Zeagler as owner with her husband, Everett, and two part time staff. They soon expanded to include guitars, drums and school band instruments.
In 1976, Fred Zeagler moved to Baton Rouge and opened the store there. Over the years, other stores were opened, including one in Metairie which was flooded by Katrina and never reopened. The three current stores are still completely family owned and operated. They believe strongly in locally owned businesses where you can always talk to the owners. They work hard to find you the best possible products at the best possible prices. They also pride themselves on being able to service what they sell. Their repair department is noted as being the best around.
They hope you find some interesting information both about their stores and their products. They currently have 3 locations, two in Baton Rouge and one in Monroe. Although they do not carry the exact same products in all stores, They are similar enough and certainly work together to get you anything available. They will soon have an online shopping website with a link available here at their home page. However, They are not an internet driven enterprise. They specialize in personal service and hope to see you in one of their stores.
